Heinrich Schliemann is one of the world's most famous archaeologists. The exhibition shows his eventful life: Schliemann traveled to almost every continent, changed his citizenship and place of residence several times, and was one of the richest merchants in Europe in the mid-19th century. It was not until his middle years that he became interested in archaeology and eventually sought out the mythological Troy.
