This talk will discuss the creation and significance of Klára Hosnedlová's monumental installation embrace. It explores the artist's exploration of home, utopias, and political systems, which are expressed in the expansive sculpture and large-format embroideries. The focus will be on the themes the artist explores in her work, as well as the materials used and their relationship to the history of the Czech Republic.
