Bühne frei für das Buch!

In der neuen Veranstaltungsreihe der Kunstbibliothek Buchsalon dreht sich alles um das Buch. Maren Wienigk, Sammlung Architektur, und Michael Lailach, Sammlung Buchkunst, sprechen mit ihren Gästen über neue und alte Bücher.

Erster Gast: Die Berliner Künstlerin Eva-Maria Schön hat den Atem und die Hand für ihre aktuelle Arbeit als Zeichnerin entdeckt. Spuren des Ausatmens und der Abrieb der Hand bleiben in ihren Zeichnungen sichtbar und finden im Buch, vor allem in der Form des Leporellos, ihren Raum der Entfaltung.

Clear the stage for the book!

The new series of events at the Kunstbibliothek Buchsalon is all about books. Maren Wienigk, Architecture Collection, and Michael Lailach, Book Art Collection, talk to their guests about new and old books.

First guest: Berlin artist Eva-Maria Schön has discovered the breath and the hand for her current work as a draughtswoman. Traces of exhalation and the abrasion of the hand remain visible in her drawings and find their space to unfold in the book, especially in the form of the leporello.
