The Princesses Are Back: Special Weekend at the Friedrichswerdersche Kirche, 22–23 April 2023

Beginning on 22 April 2023, Schadow’s famous plaster original of the Princess Group is on display in the permanent exhibition at the Friedrichswerdersche Kirche (Friedrichswerderscher Church) for the first time since 2012. On Saturday, 22 April, and Sunday, 23 April 2023, a special weekend of activities with guided tours and concerts will be held to mark the opening of the presentation „The Princesses Are Back! A New Exhibition of Schadow’s Princess Group in the Friedrichswerdersche Kirche“.

A diverse programme is offered on both days of the special weekend:

• General Tours: 11 am, 12, 1, 2, 3 and 4 pm (30 minutes each)
• Family Tours: 10:30 am and 12:30 pm (60 minutes each)
• Thematic Tours: 11:30 am, 1:30 and 3:30 pm (60 minutes each)
• Concerts: 4:30 pm (40 minutes)
• A string quartet from the Stiftung Kurt-Sanderling-Akademie of the Konzerthausorchester Berlin performs works from the 19th century by Jean Sibelius, Antonín Dvořák and Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy.

Admission to all events is free, and registration is not required.
