The cultural festival “The Nights of Ramadan” is unique in Germany and offers an exceptional platform and place of exchange in which to showcase and experience the diversity of cultures that are characterised by the Muslim religion – from conventional traditions to contemporary interpretations.
Now in its ninth year, the festival features an extensive programme of events consisting of films, concerts and discussions that enrich the month of fasting, Ramadan. The Museum für Islamische Kunst at the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin is one of the many participating institutions and will be holding various events.
