Humboldt Forum
Our new programmes for the next six months, “Bildung und Vermittlung für Erwachsene 2/2021” (in German) and “Bildung und Vermittlung für Kinder und Familien 2/2021” (in German), for adults and children and families have arrived!
Following the reopening of our venues, the Staatliche Museen is again offering a broad spectrum of educational offers to experience art and culture together. Adults can take advantage of new formats such as “Mit Abstand der Beste!” (The Best with Distancing), “Eins zu Eins!” (One-on-One) and “Tischgespräche” (Table Talks). We have also expanded our workshop offers on art techniques. During workshops children and families have the chance to become creative together, exploring the collections either with exhibition guides or on their own equipped with resources in museum kits.
We would like to draw particular attention to two spectacular new arrivals on the art scene: The recently reopened Neue Nationalgalerie provides in-depth insights into 20th century art. Related educational offers open varied approaches to the renovated architecture, the collection’s new presentation and the exhibition Alexander Calder. Minimal / Maximal. Starting in late September, the Ethnologisches Museum (Ethnological Museum) and the Museum für Asiatische Kunst (Asian Art Museum) will be presenting their world-renowned collections at the newly opened Humboldt Forum. Object histories will be critically examined in the context of diverse public tours and workshops.
We appreciate your understanding of the special regulations currently in place, which limit available tickets and groups sizes, and require advance booking online. Additionally, participation in tours, workshops and other events is only possible with proof of a negative test, full vaccination or recovery.
All of the offers were planned according to current COVID-19 health and safety measures. However, the uncertainty of the pandemic and corresponding regulations can lead to adjustments or cancellation of events at any time. Please stay informed about current health and safety regulations.
Programmes are readily available at all Staatliche Museen zu Berlin venues and can also be downloaded (in German):
We look forward to having a conversation with you again – with distancing, masks and lots of fun!
