The website of the large-scale initiative The Collaborative Museum (CoMuse) of the Ethnologisches Museum (Ethnological Museum) and the Museum für Asiatische Kunst (Asian Art Museum) of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin (National Museums in Berlin) is online: comuse.org.
As part of CoMuse, the Ethnologisches Museum and the Museum für Asiatische Kunst are jointly developing multi-perspective approaches to researching their collections and testing new formats of collaboration with an international museum and academic community as well as with representatives of copyright societies.
The new website provides an overview of the initiative and presents its various projects as well as the fellowship program as an essential component of CoMuse. The website also presents the individual episodes of the accompanying podcast Going Against the Grain, which can be accessed via all common streaming platforms.
The website is currently still being expanded and will be successively expanded with further contributions that are currently still being added or will be made available for the first time. Some of the content is currently only available in German. A translation is being worked on. The project team asks for your patience.
