Museum Europäischer Kulturen
A traditional Christmas pyramid from the Ore Mountains (Erzbebirge), which was donated to the Museum Europäischer Kulturen in spring, has found its way safely to the National Museum of Ethnology in Osaka, Japan. The Museum Europäischer Kulturen has close ties with the Japanese museum’s European Department, consolidated through many years of cooperation. In late November, the pyramid was collected from the Berlin museum and taken to Osaka, where it was assembled on 4 December using a video tutorial prepared by staff at the Museum Europäischer Kulturen.
