30.10.2020
From Monday, 2 November 2020, all the museums of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin will again be closed to the public until 30 November 2020. This measure is intended to minimise the spread of COVID-19. We hope our visitors understand.
The reading rooms of the Kunstbibliothek and the Archäologische Bibliothek as well as the study room in the Kupferstichkabinett remain open under the previously announced hygiene and safety requirements.
Please note that due to the temporary nature of the closure, information on exhibitions, events and opening hours on the website will not be individually adjusted. Regardless of any information on the website, the decision of the Berlin Senate to close the museums until at least 30 November applies.
Unfortunately, we also have to cancel events that had already been booked for November. All pre-paid bookings will be fully refunded. Please be aware that it will take some time for us to process these refunds.
