Hamburger Bahnhof – Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart
On the occasion of Gallery Weekend Berlin, Hamburger Bahnhof will be open on Friday, 1 May, and Saturday, 2 May, until 10 pm.
On Friday, talks with international collectors discuss ways to support art on both global and local levels. Pulitzer Prize winner Percival Everett will speak on Saturday afternoon in the fifth edition of “Crossroads#: Literature Meets Art”. Following this, the intergenerational orchestra “Banda Musicale di Olevano Romano” from Annika Kahrs’ film will perform an open-air concert. On Saturday evening, the museum, in cooperation with Kuboraum, invites visitors to DJ sets in the museum garden from 7 pm. The weekend concludes on Sunday afternoon with a new edition of “In Conversation” with Lina Lapelytė, who will open her solo exhibition at Hamburger Bahnhof for Gallery Weekend Berlin. Participation in the programme is free of charge.
On the occasion of Gallery Weekend Berlin, Hamburger Bahnhof will be open until 10 pm from Thursday, 30 April to Saturday, 2 May 2026, with music in the garden. Restaurant Konstantin will remain open in bar service until 10 pm as well.
