22.12.2020 The collaborative project museum4punkt0 has been extended. The Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media continues to fund the undertaking in 2021 with 10 million euros. Together with ten new partners, cultural institutions across Germany are developing and testing digital options for new ways of learning, experiencing and participating in museums.
The future-oriented project museum4punkt0, coordinated by the Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz (Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation), will be able to proceed along its innovative path. Through its funding of museum4punkt0, the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media has established a testing ground for museum education programmes that use digital technologies to open up new ways of accessing cultural heritage. museum4punkt0 is making a large proportion of the findings and experiences gained in its subprojects widely available, in this way also providing support to smaller museums currently in the process of going digital.
