Opening times during the festive season 2019/2020

Special opening hours: On public holidays, generally the same opening times apply for the museums of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin as on Sundays. Special announcements are made for exceptions to this general rule.

All museums are closed.

All museums open as usual on Sundays:

Berlin-Mitte / Museumsinsel Berlin open from 10 am to 6 pm: Alte Nationalgalerie, Altes Museum, Bode-Museum, Neues Museum, Pergamonmuseum. Das Panorama and Pergamonmuseum
Berlin-Mitte / Museumsinsel Berlin open from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm:James-Simon-Galerie
Berlin-Tiergarten / Kulturforum open from 11 am to 6 pm: Gemäldegalerie, Kunstbibliothek, Kunstgewerbemuseum and Kupferstichkabinett
Berlin-Dahlem open from 11 am to 6 pm: Museum Europäischer Kulturen
Berlin-Charlottenburg open from 11 am to 6 pm: Museum Berggruen and Sammlung Scharf-Gerstenberg
Berlin-Charlottenburg open from 11 am to 7 pm: Museum für Fotografie
Berlin-Köpenick open from 11 am to 5 pm: Kunstgewerbemuseum Schloss Köpenick
Berlin-Mitte open from 11 am to 6 pm: Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart – Berlin

All museums open as usual on Sundays.

Berlin-Mitte / Museumsinsel Berlin: Pergamonmuseum, Pergamonmuseum. Das Panorama, Neues Museum, and James-Simon-Galerie open from 10 am to 2 pm.

All other Museums of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin are closed.

All museums open from 12 pm to 6 pm.
