Gemäldegalerie
LiberBerlin, a booksellers’ association, has partnered with the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin to hold an innovative trade show on the weekend of 12-14 June at the Kulturforum. This year some 70 publishers, bookshops, and rare booksellers will exhibit a selection of old and new books, prints, and autographs in the lobby of the Gemäldegalerie, under the motto 'words become pictures/pictures become words.’
Moritz Wullen, director of the Kunstbibliothek at the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin is one of the many looking forward to LiberBerlin, saying: 'The Kulturforum is a unique treasure trove of art and books; a wonderful place for LiberBerlin and for anyone who takes pleasure in reading, looking, and marvelling at the printed word and image.’
The diverse programme of side events has been drawn up in close cooperation with the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin. There are over 60 separate events planned in five rooms at the Kulturforum.
