Harun Farocki (1944 - 2014)

01.08.2014
Hamburger Bahnhof - Museum für Gegenwart - Berlin

On July 30th Harun Farocki passed away near Berlin at the age of 70. In his incomparable work as a film-maker, author and curator, Farocki passionately conveyed his reflections on the relation between society, politics and the moving image with a commitment to revealing the truth in appearances, especially in relation to injustices and hegemonic structures. His timeless work and immense influence in the visual arts remains. We will sorely miss Harun.

The current exhibition by Harun Farocki at Hamburger Bahnhof - Museum für Gegenwart - Berlin is still open until January 18, 2015.
