Gipsformerei Reopens to the Public on 25 May 2020

19.05.2020

From 25 May 2020, the Gipsformerei showroom in Charlottenburg will once again be open to the public. Special hygiene rules will apply in accordance with current safety measures.

The Staatliche Museen zu Berlin’s Gipsformerei will reopen its showroom at Sophie-Charlotten-Strasse 17/18, 14059 Berlin on 25 May 2020. Special opening hours apply: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 am to 4 pm and Wednesday from 9 am to 6 pm.

Here, too, visitors are required to wear a face covering over their nose and mouth, and to remain 1.5 metres from other visitors at all times. Access to the showroom is limited to a maximum of three people.

In addition to individual on-site consultation appointments, the Gipsformerei has updated its online catalogue, which provides information about the diverse collection held by the world’s largest remaining replica workshop. The catalogue can now also be used for enquiries and orders: www.gipsformerei-katalog.de.
