Fotoaktion #abcoftravel. Photography Contest in conjunction with the exhibition ABC des Reisens (The ABC of Travel) at the Kunstbibliothek

To mark its 150th anniversary, the Kunstbibliothek (Art Library) is announcing a photography contest in social media parallel to the exhibition ABC des Reisens. 150 Jahre Kunstbibliothek. Attractive prizes can be won that will be awarded at the close of the exhibition in January 2019 by a Kunstbibliothek jury for the best photographs among all submitted entries.

A monthly selection of the best photos submitted will be shown on a screen at the entrance to the exhibition ABC des Reisens in the Kunstbibliothek at the Kulturforum. In addition the best photo submissions will be presented on the Kunstbiblithek’s Facebook page and Instagram channel. At the end of the exhibition, four winners will be chosen and informed via Facebook and Instagram personal message services.

Using the hashtag #ABCofTravel participants can post a holiday photo with the first letter of the respective vacation destination. The sky is the limit here regarding your creativity. It’s up to you whether the letter is self-crafted, replicated, or directly photographed.

Participation via Facebook:

Subscribe to the Kunstbibliothek Facebook page and post your holiday photo as a comment under the corresponding contest entry at the top of the pinboard.

Participation via Instagram:

Post the holiday photo on your private Instagram profile, mark the official Instagram channel @staatlichemuseenzuberlin, and use the hashtag #ABCofTravel.
