First joint summer festival held by Förderkreis des Rathgen-Forschungslabors and Bröhan Museum


The Friends Group of the Rathgen-Forschungslabor (Rathgen Research Laboratory) has teamed up with the neighbouring Bröhan Museum to hold a joint summer festival. Both organizations invite you and your friends to join them. The move is unusual in that the Bröhan Museum is not part of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin.

18:00 to 19:30 Preview of two documentary films by Sammler & Jäger Filmproduktion GmbH: 'Conservation of the Painting Revolution/Apocalyptic Landscape by Ludwig Meidner’ and Joel Olivier’s: 'Röntgenblick auf Höhlenkunst’ (on X-radiography of cave paintings)

19:30 Exhibition opening: 'Rays and Lines: Beate Treptow – Drawings and Collages’ with opening speech from Dr. Tobias Hoffmann, Bröhan Museum director, and Dr. Ina Reiche, Rathgen-Forschungslabor director
Followed by: walk-through with the artist

20:30 Tour of Bröhan Museum on the theme 'Nature and Jugendstil’
