Chinese Film Weekend to Accompany the Exhibition “Micro Era” at Kino BABYLON

As part of the current special exhibition at the Kulturforum Micro Era: Media Art from China, from 1–3 November 2019 Kino BABYLON will host a Chinese film weekend to accompany the exhibition. Four classics of Chinese film will be screening, all of which were produced between 1935 and 1948.

The film weekend will open on 1 November 2019 with the 1935 silent film The Goddess. Admission on opening night is free, but since seats are limited, we ask you to book a spot by contacting a.jaros@geka-ev.de. Following the film, the audience will have the chance to chat with Hu Xiaobin and Huang Dequan from the China Film Archive.
