All annual tickets that have been affected by the closure of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin in response to the COVID-19 pandemic (14 March to 11 May 2020) will be extended by two months. The extension is automatic.
There is no need to get a new tickets. The automatically extended annual tickets can be used from 15 May 2020 in the museums that have reopened.
Currently, all visitors must book a time-slot to visit the museums. For annual ticket holders, booking a time-slot is free. In order to avoid queues forming at the ticket desks, we strongly recommend that visitors purchase tickets in advance online.
New annual tickets can be purchased online or at the ticket desks of the museums that are currently open.
