Annual Conference of the Besucher*innenforschung e. V. Network on 16 and 17 October 2023

In cooperation with the Jüdisches Museum Berlin, the annual conference of the Besucher*innenforschung e. V. Network takes place on 16 and 17 October 2023 at the W. Michael Blumenthal Academy of the Jewish Museum Berlin.

Under the focus “Visitor Research Meets Education”, lectures, current research approaches, workshops and practical insights will be given on the following topics:

1. For whom and for what purpose is data on educational work collected in a museum?
2. How can impact and effects be measured?
3. Data collection and evaluation using ANOHA ‒ the Children’s World of the Jewish Museum Berlin ‒ as an example

The conference is aimed at those interested who conduct research in a museum context on visitors and education, plan and carry out educational projects in museums, or develop tools for empirical research in museums.

Programme and Registration

The conference takes place on 16 October 2023 from 1 pm until around 8:30 pm and on 17 October 2023 from 9 am until around 1 pm at the W. Michael Blumenthal Academy of the Jewish Museum Berlin.
