50,000 visitors have seen “Impressionism–Expressionism” so far already

The Alte Nationalgalerie’s latest exhibitionImpressionism – Expressionism has got off to a great start. More than 50,000 visitors flocked to see the major exhibition in its first four weeks. The show on the Museumsinsel Berlin runs until 20 September 2015.

Angelika Wesenberg, exhibition curator, said: 'We are delighted that the media interest in ImEx has been so overwhelming and that so many visitors have come to see the show in the first month alone.’

To avoid the queues, we recommend that visitors take advantage of the extended opening hours until 8 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. VIP tickets are available online that grant holders immediate admission to the exhibition and include use of an audio-guide. To book, go to: www.
