The exhibition 'Tomás Saraceno. Cloud Cities' was on show in Berlin's Hamburger Bahnhof until 19 February. To satisfy the high visitor demand, the show was extended for a few weeks before finally closing, and was thus open to the public for five months.

Around 160,000 visitors saw the installation before the doors finally shut on Sunday. Over 400 copies of the exhibition catalogue were sold.

Presented as part of the Dornbracht Installation Projects, the National Gallery exhibition was the first ever showing of so many of the artist's works at one time, twenty in all, in a huge installation that took up the entire historical central hall of the Hamburger Bahnhof.

The parallel show, 'Architektonika', of works from the National Gallery's own collection will run at the Hamburger Bahnhof in a slightly altered form until January 2013.
