The curved façade of the Bode-Museum, the temple of the Alte Nationalgalerie, the resurrected Neues Museum, and the idyllic colonnaded courtyard. Museumsinsel Berlin is one of Berlin's main attractions and one of the world's top museum districts. The island's five buildings, from the Altes Museum to the Pergamonmuseum, present collections that document the entire history of humanity – a unique urban ensemble and a UNESCO World Heritage Site for 25 years.
