Restless Times. Archaeology in Germany | Curator Susanne Kuprella's favourite object

Film

The special exhibition "Restless Times. Archaeology in Germany", more than 1000 important artefacts were on display, impressively documenting the prehistory of Central Europe and its development from the beginning to the modern age. But which find is one of the exhibition curators' favourites? In this episode, curator Susanne Kuprella shows her personal highlight of the exhibition: the cremation grave of a Quadin from Profen. How did an obviously wealthy woman from the Quaden tribe in present-day Austria end up in the Hermundur region, now Saxony-Anhalt? And why was she buried so richly by the standards of the time?
