The Neue Nationalgalerie by Mies van der Rohe is considered to be an “Icon of Modernity“. In recent years the building has undergone a thorough overhaul by David Chipperfield Architects. This way the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin (Berlin National Museums) regain their grand building for exhibitions.
