Looked At! The interior of Carl Blechen's Palm House


Carl Blechen's painting "The Interior of the Palm House" from 1832/33 already transported viewers at the time directly into the ambience of the Palm House on Berlin's Peacock Island, which the Prussian King Frederick William III had built.
