The Nationalgalerie is Taking Part in the ‟Erklärung der Vielen”: ‟Unite & Shine” Demonstration March on 19 May 2019

Unite & Shine: The venues of the Nationalgalerie are also among the signatories of the ‟Erklärung der Vielen” (Declaration of the Many), an action and solidarity alliance of cultural institutions and organisations for the preservation of freedom in the arts.

The Berlin ‟Erklärung der Vielen” was officially published on 9 November 2018. The Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz with all its institutions was one of the first signatories.

‟Unite & Shine” March – For a Europe of the Many!

On 19 May 2019, DIE VIELEN (THE MANY) are calling for nationwide ‟SHINE” DEMONSTRATIONS in Berlin and additional cities throughout Germany to oppose threats to artistic freedom in Europe. The Berlin demo starts at 12:00 noon at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz in front of the Volksbühne theatre.
