The climate and energy crises demand greater sustainability in the operation and construction of museums, libraries, archives, and storage facilities.
The goal of the project is to critically review the existing requirements for indoor climate in museums and potential damage factors for objects, particularly due to climate change. It aims to develop risk- and process-based concepts to make the construction and operation of memory institutions (MIs), which are among the largest energy consumers in urban environments, more sustainable in the future.
