On Thursday, 3 July 2025, the now-traditional summer event will take place. It is co-hosted by the Bröhan-Museum, the Rathgen-Forschungslabor (Rathgen Research Laboratory) and the Sammlung Scharf-Gerstenberg ‒ Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, as well as the Freie Universität Berlin’s Abguss-Sammlung Antiker Plastik (a collection of casts of ancient sculpture). A varied exhibition and event programme, as well as culinary offerings available in the Bettina Berggruen Garden, await visitors at the shared building ensemble adjacent to Schloss Charlottenburg (Palace). Admission is free.
The exhibition The Magic of Glaze is opening soon at the Bröhan-Museum, and preview tours are available in conjunction with it. Other tour offers include Alchimia: The Revolution of Italian Design exhibition and the permanent installation. Additionally, the museum features a creative hands-on station for both children and adults.
The Sammlung Scharf-Gerstenberg offers tours of its new special exhibition, “STRANGE! Surrealisms, 1950–1990, from the Collections of the Nationalgalerie” an. In front of the museum, artist Antoanetta Marinov gathers wishes as part of her “Zauberstäbe” (Magic Wands) art event.
The Rathgen-Forschungslabor’s programme focuses on ‟glazes on ceramics” and ‟risk management”. It offers numerous lectures and hands-on activities.
There are also tours of the Abguss-Sammlung Antiker Plastik permanent exhibition, which presents a comprehensive overview of the history and visual manifestations of Greek and Roman sculpture..
The Bettina Berggruen Garden invites visitors to enjoy summery rendezvous over beverages and a small array of menu choices.
