Colourful ceramics on public buildings are a trademark of the Islamic world from Morocco to Uzbekistan. Through various techniques, the buildings stand out from the often barren landscapes. This film presents what is probably the most spectacular technique, that of ceramic mosaics. Distribution, origin, technology, as well as the migration of workshops are presented in this film.
