On 15 April 2026, the James-Simon-Galerie will be closed due to a Minister Presidents' Conference. The Neues Museum will be open on that day, but will not be accessible barrier-free. Access is possible via the Neuer Hof on the west side.

Entry to the Neues Museum for Groups

Information for Group Visits to the Neues Museum

Since July 2019, the James-Simon-Galerie has become the main entrance for all groups visiting the Pergamonmuseum and the Neues Museum.

The James-Simon-Galerie provides ticket sales and coat check services at a central location.
Neues Museum: All groups are to check-in at the cash registers/information desk located in the lower lobby of the James-Simon-Galerie ‒ accessible through the courtyard.
