The Staatliche Museen zu Berlin Joins the Long Night of Museums on 24 August 2024

The Staatliche Museen zu Berlin will be participating in the 42nd "Long Night of the Museums" on Saturday, 24 August 2024 with an extensive programme under the motto: "Berlin Secrets". From 6 pm
until 2 am, the Long Night of Museums offers access to 75 museums and over 750 events with just one ticket.

Ten museums of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin are opening their doors to visitors:

Tickets for the Long Night of Museums Event on 24 August 2024

  • Price: 18 euros, 12 euros with concessions
  • Early Bird Tickets purchased by 11 August 2024: 12 euros, 10 euros with concessions
  • Online tickets: available in the Long Night of Museums Ticket Shop. It’s also for sale at the visitBerlin Tourist Information offices in the Humboldt Forum, at the central station Berlin Hauptbahnhof, at the Brandenburg Gate and at Berlin-Brandenburg Airport BER.
  • Evening Box office: on 24 August 2024 from 12 noon at the Museum Island meeting point at Lustgarten, from 5 pm at all participating museums

Information

  • Free admission for children under 12 years: Please select the free children's tickets and keep them with you to the admission control during the Long Night of Museums. The children's tickets can only be selected together with an adult ticket.
  • Discounts are available (on presentation of a valid applicable ID and/or proof of eligibility) for schoolchildren, trainees, students, participants in federal voluntary services, recipients of transfer benefits, Berlinpass holders and the severely disabled. The person accompanying someone severely disabled with level “B” identification receives free admission.
  • Other tickets – including the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin Annual Pass and the Museumspass Berlin – are not valid during the Long Night of Museums.

Combi tickets are available at all participating museums, at Ticketmaster advance booking offices (plus advance booking fee) and at Berlin Tourist Info Centres.
