Museumsinsel Berlin
The Kolonnaden-Bar on the Museumsinsel Berlin has reopened its doors. Until 30 August 2026, visitors can enjoy refreshing drinks and a diverse cultural programme in a unique atmosphere.
At the northern tip of the Museumsinsel, directly on the historic Kolonnadenhof and overlooking the Spree, visitors can expect a diverse cultural programme during the summer months. The bar is open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4 pm to 10 pm, and from Friday to Sunday from 12 pm to 10 pm.
The food and beverage offering is accompanied by an extensive festival programme. The “Kolonnaden-Bar Sommerfestival by Vagabund” includes more than 50 free cultural events, including live music, DJ sets, performances, and other artistic formats. The programme is aimed at Berliners as well as guests from Germany and abroad.
The festival brings together artists from Berlin and the international cultural scene. The formats change throughout the week, ranging from intimate concerts to artistic performances. The aim is to make the city’s cultural diversity visible and to further strengthen the public space on the Museumsinsel as a place of encounter and cultural exchange.
Over the course of the summer, community events and cultural offerings will also take place, including talks and workshops.
The Kolonnaden Bar is being realised in cooperation between the Vagabund Brauerei and the Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz, and takes place as part of the 200th anniversary of the Museumsinsel.
