Whether as an early bird or during the blue hour on Museumsinsel Berlin: As part of its Summer Programme, the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin have extended opening hours at the Neues Museum and the James-Simon-Galerie from 4 July to 1 September 2024. Tickets are now available at a special price for a morning or evening visit to the Neues Museum with its famous Bust of Nefertiti and the special exhibition “Elephantine: Island of the Millennia”.

Extended Opening Hours at James-Simon-Galerie and Neues Museum from 4 July to 1 September 2024

• Tuesday to Saturday 9 am to 8 pm
• Sunday 9 am to 6 pm

Special Admission Price per Person

• From9‒10 am and after 5:30 pm (Tuesday thru Saturday)
• 12 € (instead of 16 €), reduced 6 € (instead of 8 €)

Tickets are now available via the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin Ticket Shop or at museum ticket counters.

Gastronomic Offers

In the Cu29 café and restaurant at the James-Simon-Galerie, museum visitors can begin their day with a French breakfast or start the evening in style with an aperitif on the terrace.
