2024 Summer Programme at the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin

21.06.2024

During the summer holidays, the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin offers a varied programme for families, teens, and adults. Alongside extended opening hours at the Neues Museum, the James-Simon-Galerie and the Alte Nationalgalerie, an extensive list of workshops takes place during the summertime across the entire Museumsinsel and at Haus Bastian – Centre for Cultural Education. Additional offers can be found at the Kulturforum, Hamburger Bahnhof – Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart, the Museum für Fotografie (Museum of Photography) and the Museum Europäischer Kulturen (MEK, Museum of European Cultures).

For six weeks, the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin invites visitors to explore its diverse venues and institutions over the summer break. Children, families, young people and adults can engage with themes from the collections and special exhibitions together with their peers or in a family group.
