The "Backstories" series tells remarkable object stories from the collections of the National Museums in Berlin. This episode is about the ‘Skull of Le Moustier’ in the Museum für Vor- und Frühgeschichte. In 1908, the Swiss archaeologist Otto Hauser discovered the remains of the young Neanderthal man in the French village of Le Moustier.
