The Museumsinsel (Museum Island), in the heart of Berlin, has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1999. That same year a resolution was passed for a complete renovation of the exceptional ensemble that dates from the 19th and early 20th centuries. These plans have since been implemented step by step. The tour provides insights into the history and future of the Museumsinsel, and presents highlights of the Neues Museum and the Pergamonmuseum.
Following the tour, the museums on the Museumsinsel can be visited until closing time.
Tickets can be reserved online and on the day from the museum ticket desk. Spaces are limited.
