Marah Sultan: "Life has returned to its walls" | Aleppo Old City

Film

She returned home after thinking it was lost forever.

Marah Sultan, a young woman living with her family in a traditional Aleppian house, shares her childhood memories and how life has returned to its walls after the war.

Documenting these buildings isn't just about numbers; it's about preserving stories of resilience. Through our project Documenting and Mapping the Current Status of Historic Buildings in Aleppo's Old City, we worked to protect this memory.
