From Al-Jdayde neighborhood, Ali Hafez shares his story: a father who lost his home and business during the war, yet his soul remains rooted in the place he lived. 

Documenting these buildings isn't just about numbers; it's about preserving stories of resilience. Through our project Documenting and Mapping the Current Status of Historic Buildings in Aleppo's Old City, we worked to protect this memory.
