From 2025, the International & National Scholarship Programme will offer scholars from all over the world the opportunity to spend one to three months at the Museum for Islamic Art.
The programme supports projects in the field of Islamic art history and archaeology as well as restoration and cultural preservation of Islamic cultures that are directly related to the projects and collection of the Museum of Islamic Art. The programme is intended to strengthen the international and national networking of the Museum for Islamic Art and is therefore aimed at experts who are resident in Germany or abroad. The programme primarily promotes young academics. With the help of the scholarships, the scholarship holders can work on their project at the Museum for Islamic Art and establish professional contacts. They also participate in the academic and cultural life of the Museum for Islamic Art.
