Helmut Newton would have celebrated his 100th birthday on 31 October 2020. We are celebrating this great anniversary with a series of interviews with contemporary witnesses to the founding of the Museum für Fotografie. Without Helmut Newton's love for his home city, without his desire to present his work permanently in Berlin, the museum at Bahnhof Zoo would not exist. Thanks to the work of the Helmut Newton Foundation and the Kunstbibliothek, it has become a magnet for photography enthusiasts from all over the world.
In this episode: Peter-Klaus Schuster, former Director General of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin
