Cut-outs. Highlights from the Collections of the Museum für Fotografie's Friends
An exhibition to celebrate the museum's first ten years

02.07.2014 to 05.10.2014
Museum für Fotografie

To congratulate the museum on its first ten years, the Friends of the Museum für Fotografie have made loans from their own collections for the special exhibition "Cut-outs." Many of the institution’s private patrons offer a glimpse of their own favorite images. The selection, made by curator Anne Ganteführer-Trier, includes previously unknown works by some of photography’s most celebrated figures as well as masterpieces spanning more than a hundred and fifty years of the medium’s history. The presentation makes possible a stimulating dialogue between collections with extremely varied points of focus.
