Textile Day at the Museum Europäischer Kulturen

Since 2004, the Museum Europäischer Kulturen has been hosting the annual Textile Day in cooperation with the specialist association …textil.. e.V. and MEK Freunde (Association of Friends of the Museum Europäischer Kulturen). 

Visitors can try out manyfold techniques with different materials throughout the day as participating artists present and demonstrate their creative ideas and craftsmanship in mini-workshops. Textile Day offers a forum for people to come together and exchange ideas and information.

The 20th Textile Day will take place on Sunday, 8 November 2026, from 11 am to 5 pm.

Exhibition
