This event brings together personal stories and socio-political analysis: musician and author Yuriy Gurzhy and cultural activist and curator Eva Yakubovska share insights into their own experiences of migration and flight, relating them to the fates of many Ukrainians today. Together, they shed light on Russia's role as the main cause of the recent wave of emigration from Ukraine, tying in with central themes of the current exhibition.

In addition to political and historical aspects, the discussion also focuses on life in the diaspora: How do music, art and activism shape the Ukrainian community in exile? What forms of cultural resistance are emerging? The two interlocutors combine personal perspectives with artistic and social reflections.
