DJ iDJa is a DJ, music producer and sound artist from Sápmi. In his sets, his own music and his installations, he combines Sámi musical tradition with new technology. In doing so, he breaks with ideas of what indigenous Sámi music should sound like.

As an extremely versatile sound artist, DJ iDJa is able to bring momentum to the dance floor with modern Sámi club music as well as create space for reflection and introspection with his intense, ambient live sets. Recently, he has also gained experience as a film producer with his art/music video Techno Áhčči, which has won two awards and been shown at film festivals around the world.
