The MEK Signs the Berlin Declaration of The Many

The MEK is among the signatories of the Berlin Declaration of The Many. With this declaration, cultural institutions and organisations affirm their belief that art and culture should be accessible to all.

The signatories seek to make a stand against racism and social exclusion, and commit themselves to values such as respect and diversity. We at the MEK have been standing up for these values for a long time now. In 2019, we want to once again make a contribution to the strengthening of our democracy.

The Berlin ‟Erklärung der Vielen” was officially published on 9 November 2018. The Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz with all its institutions was one of the first signatories.
