The Förderkreis des Museum Berggruen Berlin was founded in July 2007 with the aim of providing long-term assistance to the Museum Berggruen and its continuous expansion. The friends association provides immaterial and financial support to the museum’s exhibitions, events, and publications. It is joined in its mission by the International Council, a group of patrons of the arts and friends of the Berggruen family which aims to strengthen the Museum Berggruen’s international standing.
