The Kunstbibliothek (Art Library) maintains an interdisciplinary library as well as museum collections of more than a million objects. The applied arts holdings span the art historical spectrum from the late Middle Ages to the present. They can be viewed in the public study room on the Kunstbibliothek’s first upper storey. Please bring your valid identity card or passport to register. Admission is free.

Traditional catalogues: Alphabetical card catalogue (all items acquired before 1994 systematized according to the ‘Prussian Instructions’, a historical cataloguing system).
