The galleries for special exhibitions are periodically used to showcase major exhibitions organized and presented by various collections at the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, in which they combine their unique holdings and incorporate high-profile loans to explore selected topics.
As with the Gemäldegalerie, Kupferstichkabinett, Kunstbibliothek, and Kunstgewerbemuseum, the galleries for special exhibitions are accessible via the Kulturforum’s main entrance.
