Infinite Greyscale

28.06.2016 to 14.08.2016
Kunstbibliothek

This year a comprehensive collection of items produced by the publishing house Infinite Greyscale was donated to the Kunstbibliothek. To mark this generous donation, there will be an exhibition in the entrance of the Kunstbibliothek, in which publications, records, and artist's books created by Infinite Greyscale will be on display.

Since studying at London's Chelsea College of Art and Design, Paul McDevitt and Cornelius Quabeck have been working on a number of different joint projects. In 2011 they began publishing artist's books as a continuation of their collaborative projects. The name of the publishing house alludes to the various ideas they aim to explore as part of their creative programme. In 2013, the first records were released on the Infinite Greyscale label. The first record was created in collaboration with Jefre Cantu-Ledesma, featuring a design made up of a colour vinyl pressing on the A-side, and a screen-print on the B-side. So far eight records have been produced using the same process.

Paul McDevitt and Cornelius Quabeck have created a poster for the exhibition using screen-print on mirrored card.
